During the production of the round ALANG placemats, individual seagrass fibres are carefully bound and woven together to form a radiant, unique surface. The natural variation of the handwoven fibres gives each placemat its own character and slightly different texture, creating an authentic, artisanal look.
ALANG placemats are soft and flexible thanks to the raffia-like processing of the fibres, making them easy to store and suitable for everyday use. They bring a relaxed, holiday atmosphere to any table whether used outdoors for a barbecue or indoors for family meals.
