Detailed description
The banana fibres come from the layered trunks of banana trees that are no longer productive. Strips of dried fibres are rolled into the characteristic strands (approximately 6 mm thick) that form the durable woven structure. The natural brown tone develops during sun-drying, giving each piece an authentically rustic appearance. Only older banana trees are used, turning an agricultural byproduct into a robust raw material for handcrafted home accessories.
